“There was the river and there were the mountains. There was the calm, the magic and the simplicity of this place. On the banks of the Santa Uxía reservoir, in the heart of the Costa da Morte and very close to Ézaro and its waterfall. Today seven autochthonous trees give their name to our 7 rooms. Loureiros, Fieitas, Carballos, Acivros, Castiñeiros, Pinos e Toxos. Warmth, wood, stone and mud. By the fireplace, the sound of dry wood burning. In the garden, the rustle of leaves blown by the wind. On the jetty, echoes of water. In the morning, gentle tinkling of cups, aromas of coffee, homemade sweets and freshly toasted bread. Casa de Santa Uxía is simplicity, nature and rest”.

From our house you will easily reach the most beautiful places of the Costa da Morte: the waterfall of Ézaro and Monte Pindo; the charming villages of Ézaro, Muros, Finisterre and Muxía; the lighthouses and headlands of Finisterre, Touriñán and Vilán; and beaches such as Louro, Carnota, Ézaro and Langosteira, as well as the famous surf spots in Nemiña and Mar de Fóra. You can also explore the historical heritage: the hórreo of Carnota, the castle of Vimianzo and the dolmens of Dombate and Pedra da Arca.
And if you fancy a city break, A Coruña and Santiago de Compostela are only 90 and 70 km away, respectively.
